What we collect

When you enquire or book, we collect what we need to look after your dog properly and to reach you on the day:

• Your name, mobile number and email address
• An emergency contact, and your vet's details if you give them
• Your dog's name, breed, age, sex, desexing and vaccination status
• Temperament, socialisation history, behavioural notes and medical or medication requirements
• Photos of your dog that you choose to upload

Why we need it

Every field on the booking form exists for a reason. Health and behaviour information tells us how to introduce your dog safely and what to watch for. Contact details let us reach you quickly if something changes. Vet details matter if there is ever an emergency.

We do not use your information for anything unrelated to caring for your dog and running the bookings.

Photos of your dog

We take photos and short videos through the day and send them to you. We also sometimes share them on our Instagram or on this website, because seeing real dogs having a real day is how people decide to trust us.

If you would rather your dog was not shared publicly, tell us and we will keep their photos private. You can change your mind at any time, and we will take existing photos down when you ask.

Who else sees it

Your information stays with The Barkyard Club. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it. It is shared outside the business only when one of these applies:

• A vet needs it to treat your dog in an emergency
• A service we use to run the website and bookings stores it on our behalf, such as our website host and form provider
• The law requires us to disclose it

How it is stored

Booking enquiries submitted through this website are delivered to our email and held by our form provider. We keep records for as long as your dog is a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, then remove them.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels by default. If we later add website analytics to understand which pages people find useful, it will measure page visits and button clicks in aggregate rather than identify you personally. Your browser settings can block this at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, stop sharing your dog's photos, or delete your details once your dog is no longer coming. Just call or email and we will sort it out.
